This kit will eliminate the factory split input shaft system for a much stronger one piece style 31 spline input shaft. This will eliminate lock up and provide more power handling capabilities.  Installation is easy and does not require any machine work. Forward drum is included with input shaft already pressed in place and is loaded and ready to install with 5 friction plates.  This kit will also improve cooler flow and will help to eliminate converter ballooning that is common with the stock configuration.  Kit will fit all 1980-1992 AOD transmissions.
